Cute Variation

We've all seen the adorable initials made out of crayons for teacher gifts.  Well, one parent at my school turned that idea into this for our nurse!  It's it too cute!  I love this version!

Now I'm thinking about how to tweak this for other people too!

Blogger Meetup!

So I am completely breaking the rules by posting twice but I keep forgetting to add this!  We are planning a blogger meetup this Saturday!  Let me know if you around the Kansas City area and want to join us!!

Morning Work

Even though it is spring break, we know teachers are always thinking about the plans for when school starts back up.  One of my downfalls is morning work.  I always have the best intentions but usually just end up finding a random sheet that usually relates to something we have been learning.  However I have found an amazing resource to save this start of my day.

Danielle Kroger over at Kroger's Kindergarten has these awesome Morning Work packs!  They include ELA and Math Standards to practice every day!

I truly adore these packs!  They are simple for the kids to understand after a few uses.  They are completely focused on the things that my students need to be practicing.  These help my students start the day ready to learn!

So run over to her TpT store and grab one to try out!  I promise you will be back for more!

Beginning, Middle, and Ending Sounds

Are your students having trouble identifying sounds in different locations?  I have found a great product to help practice this skill.  Kristen over at  Kristen's Kindergarten has this Beginning, Middle, and Ending Sounds pack over at her TpT store.

This pack contains picture cards and recording sheets to identify sounds in different locations.  The pictures she used are easy to name.  The best part...the picture cards are both in color and bw!!  LOVE that option!!

The beginning and ending sounds look like this.  Simple enough for my kinders to do independently during learning tub times!

The middle sounds have the vowel cards to work on sorting too!

The best part....a lot of us are having a sale over at Tpt for March Madness!  Be sure to check out her store and mine too!
